Who we are

EmirKey (the website emirkey.com and the EmirKey apps for iOS and Android) is operated by A.Y.Y. IT SOLUTIONS LTD, a company registered in Cyprus (HE 435858), 4 Alexandroupoleos, 8027 Pafos, Cyprus. We are the controller of the personal data described below. Contact: info@ayy-it.com.

What we collect

• Enquiries about a listing. When you send the “Ask about this property” form we store your name, the phone number and/or email you enter, your message, the listing you asked about, the interface language and the time.
• Early list for agencies, developers and owners. When you join the early list we store your name, email, the role you selected, the language and the time.
• Abuse protection. To limit spam we keep a one-way hash of your IP address together with the form submission. We do not store the IP address itself.
• On your device only. Your saved listings, language and currency are stored on your device (browser storage or app storage) and are not sent to us.

We do not ask for your location, contacts, photos or camera. We do not use advertising identifiers, we do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising or tracking across other apps and websites.

Why we use it

We use enquiry details only to answer your request and, once agencies and owners are connected, to pass it to the advertiser of the listing you asked about. We use early-list details only to contact you about listing your properties on EmirKey. The legal basis is your request (steps before a contract) and our legitimate interest in keeping the service free of abuse.

Beta notice: during the beta all listings are demo samples and enquiries are not forwarded to agents.

Who processes it

The website, the forms and the database run on Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.), which acts as our processor. The map on emirkey.com and in the apps loads map tiles from OpenStreetMap servers and the map library from unpkg.com; these servers receive your IP address as part of normal web requests. No other third parties receive your data.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and early-list entries are kept for up to 24 months after the last contact, then deleted. Hashed IP values are kept with the submission they belong to.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive it in a portable format. Write to info@ayy-it.com from the email you used, or tell us the phone number you entered. You can also complain to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus (dataprotection.gov.cy) or to the authority in your country.

The apps do not have user accounts, so there is no account to delete. Saved listings disappear when you delete the app or clear its data.

Children

EmirKey is meant for adults looking for property and is not directed at children under 16.
